    General Note: Event Cards are held on to to form your "hand." They may be played from your hand before and after all actions, during any player's turns, unless instructed otherwise.

    Bad Luck

    A player of your choice who is rolling a die flips a coin instead; if it's Heads, treat the die roll as a 1, if it's Tails treat the die roll as a 2.

    Bad News

    A Character of your choice changes their Power to 2 for one round.

    Bad Timing
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice gets -2 for this turn.

    Bad Twin
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice cannot make any Power Checks this turn.

    Burial
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    If a Character you control has been killed this turn, draw a Character card and put that Character into play under your control at a Campsite.

    Camp Alarm
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    No Equipment may be stolen or destroyed and no Power Checks may be made at a Location of your choice for the rest of this turn.

    Carte Blanche
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    You may take any one Equipment from an opponent of your choice, and equip it to one of your Characters.

    Catch Up
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    If any Characters are at an adjacent Location to a Character you control, move your Character to that Location.

    Caught in a Net
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice is Trapped for three rounds, or until another Character is at the same Location, whichever comes first.

    Caught Lying
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Fate card an opponent just played is cancelled. Return that card to opponent's hand. It cannot be played again this turn.

    Caught Napping
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice has their Power reduced to 0 for this turn.

    Climb A Tree
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Choose a Character you control and roll a die. If it is equal to or less than their power, draw 2 Fate cards. If it is not, that Character is injured.

    Coffin
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice is Trapped for the rest of this round. If you choose Jack, it's this round and next round.

    Confession
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Reveal your hand to all players, then draw a Fate card. A Character of your choice gets +1 to their Power this round.

    Digging Up The Dead

    Discard all Equipment at one Location.

    Dog Whistle
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    If "Vincent" is in the discard pile, you may add it to your hand.

    Don't Move
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice may ignore the "Monster" this turn.

    Escape Hole
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Any one Character returns to their original controller and, if Trapped, is free to act as normal.

    Cancel one Event, Special Ability or Equipment that increases or decreases a Character's Power.

    FATE

    Until end of turn, in determining any Power Check, use only base Powers; no modifiers may be used (you still roll the die).

    Fire!

    Destroy all Fate cards at a Location of your choice.

    French Lady's Transmission
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Pick one Location on the island and look at it. If you have ever attempted any Power Check with the help of another player, turn it face up.

    Gambling
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    You and an opponent of your choice both roll a die. If they are equal, they take a Fate card from your hand. If not, you take a Fate card from theirs.

    Get Off My Raft
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice is now Neutral. You cannot target a Starting Character.

    Getting Dragged
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    If a Character encounters the "Monster" and loses, instead of being killed, that Character is injured and you draw 2 Fate cards.

    Head Butt
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character you control makes a Power Check against one Character at the same Location. If you win, the other Character is injured.

    Hide In The Bushes
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Two Characters of your choice at the same Location cannot be the targets of a Power Check.

    Hit From Behind
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice at an adjacent Location to one of your Characters misses their next turn.

    Hypnosis
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    You and an opponent both draw a Fate card; you may look at the card they draw.

    I Never
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    An opponent must show you their Fate cards. You show them one of yours.

    Internal Bleeding

    Pick an injured Character and flip a coin. If it's tails, that Character is killed.

    At a Location with a Character you control and an opponent's Character, you may take control of opponent's Character and give that opponent all your Event cards.

    Language Barrier
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    For one round, a Character of your choice can only take Actions alone.

    LATE
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Draw a Character card and put that Character into play at a Campsite. That Character is Neutral.

    Lose Respect
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Remove one of opponent's Characters from a Power Check.

    A player of your choice who is rolling a die flips a coin instead; if it's Heads, treat the die roll as a 6, if it's Tails treat the die roll as a 5.

    Make The Shot
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice that cannot move or is Trapped rolls a die against their Power. If it is equal to or less than their Power, that Character may now move as normal.

    Man of Faith
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice may make one extra engagement this turn.

    Massive Internal Injuries
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice is injured.

    Miraculous Escape
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Any one kidnapped or led Character returns to your control.

    Mug Shot
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice gets -1 to their Power; any other Characters at the same Location get +1 to their Power.

    Choose a Character and roll a die against their Power. If it's greater than their Power, they are Trapped for the rest of this round. If you choose Charlie, it's this round and next round.

    Numb

    Injured Character of your choice may take one action this turn.

    Ostracized
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Choose an opponent. Remove all but one of their Characters from a Power Check.

    Other Survivors
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Draw a Character card and put that Character into play at a Campsite. That Character is Neutral.

    Out Of The Wild
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice changes their Power to 1 for one round.

    Passenger Manifest
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    You may take the top 5 cards from the Characters deck, look at them, and place them in any order you choose, including on the bottom.

    Ransacking

    Choose a Character you control, then choose another Character you control at a different Location. Move the second Character to the the first one.

    Rescue
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice that is Trapped or can take no actions may now take actions as normal.

    Righteous Anger
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Character you control gets +3 to their Power for this turn against any Character that has attempted to lead them prior to this turn.

    Run
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Play this before Movement. A Character of your choice may move two Location spaces this turn instead of one.

    Sun's Ring

    If Sun or Jin is in play, but not the other, search the Character's deck for the other and put them in play under your control at a Campsite (shuffle the deck afterwards).

    Surgery On One's Self
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Prevent a Character of your choice from being killed. That Character skips their next two turns.

    Taken
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Remove a Follower Character from the game.

    Telling The Truth
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Reveal your hand to an opponent. That opponent may not target any of your Characters this round, and cancel any unresolved Power Checks.

    If a Character you control is killed this turn, you may draw another Character and put them into play under your control at a face-up Shoreline Location.

    The Mind's Eye

    Instead of rolling a die, choose the result of the die roll.

    The Moth
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    You may look at all adjacent face-down Locations to a Character you control before deciding where that Character moves.

    Toy Plane
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    A Character of your choice is Trapped for the rest of this round. If you choose Kate, it's this round and next round.

    Pick a Character you control. If they are within two Locations of another Character, you may move the chosen Character to that Location.

    All of your Characters and an opponent's Characters get +1 to their Power for one round. Look at their Event cards and show them yours.

    Unfortunate Demise

    Choose a Character that just took an Action, and roll a die against their Power. If it is more than their Power, they are Injured (if already Injured, they are Killed).

    Vincent
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Cancel any Event card just played.

    Visualize
    Event (Play this from your hand)
    Instead of flipping a coin, choose the result of the coin flip.
