Round 1 Step 1: Move Characters Bruce gets to go first. Bruce moves the Jack playing piece on to an adjacent Location tile. Rule: Each Turn, you MUST move all Characters you control, unless you are specifically instructed otherwise. Characters move one space a time, to an adjoining location tile, unless instructed otherwise. You do NOT use the dice to determine movement! Move all Characters you control before going on to Step 2 for any Characters.Step 2: Engage Bruce follows the instructions and draws a Fate card. It's a piece of Equipment: "Mr. Eko's Stick." Rule: Beginning with the Character you moved FIRST, you must decide what that Character is going to engage with for this Turn. You will declare this for EACH Character you control, although some Characters at the same Location will team-up to resolve a single Engagement together.Bruce equips it to Jack by placing the Equipment card on his Character Card. Jack's power is now effectively a 5. Rule: Equipment represents items that your Characters have encountered and also have to deal with immediately. There are several things your Characters can do with Equipment: they can equip it to themselves and use it immediately or use it later; use it immediately and leave it behind; or just leave it behind. Most Characters can only carry one piece of Equipment.Bruce skips the next 3 steps of play, as they do not apply to him yet. It is now John's turn. |
